5 Toxic Personalities Successful People Avoid   (Link)

The Complainers, The Entitled, The Conformers, The Doubters and The Party Animals

I  like one of  Jim Rohn quotes "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with" If you want to be healthy surround yourself with people that are on that same path.  If you want less drama surround yourself with people that are excited about their life.

Madonnari, or street painters, transform the Mission plaza using pastels on pavement to create 150 vibrant and colorful, large scale images. We are proud to be the first to bring this romantic festival to the western hemisphere from our sister festival in Grazie di Curtatone, Italy. The festival benefits theChildren's Creative Project, a nonprofit arts education program of the Santa Barbara County Education Office. The Project serves 50,000 children in more than 100 schools with visual and performing arts workshops and performances throughout Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
Festival hours are 10-6 daily. Admission is free.

The Santa Barbara Mission is located at the corner of Los Olivos and Laguna Streets.
From the 101 Freeway, take Mission Street exit and travel east to Laguna Street, turn left and continue two blocks to the Mission entrance. Additional parking is available on the Mission field.

This is really a nice event to check out.  You will be amazed  to see the beautiful pictures that are created.  If you are not able to make it on May 28, 29 or 30th. You can still see them the next weekend if it does not rain.

April & May - Read a Book

If you're like me you have a pile of books around your home just waiting to be read.  In my teens I could finish a whole book in one day.  As I grew older a magazine was my form of book reading.  I still love to browse in bookstores and buy a book knowing that it will go on new pile at home.  Lately I have been buying mysteries and self-help books
Let's make April and May the month that we actually sit down and read a whole book.

Let me know what book you read.

I was really touched by this interview.  We always hope we can inspire our Family and Friends

FIRESTONE WALKER BREWING COMPANY, Paso Robles, CA.
On this trip we passed on the wine tasting and tried something different which was BEER tasting. I would recommend going. with an adventurous group who will try a variety of  beers. The atmosphere was friendly and helpful. We each found a couple that we would like to purchase in the future. The brewery offers tours but you have to call in advance to reserve a spot.

Easter means different things to different people.
A personal relationship with God, Easter Sunday service, an Easter egg hunt, or a family BBQ.

What does Easter mean to you?

The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, Ca.
If you enjoy being surrounded by beautiful gardens and like a good cup of tea you will enjoy The Huntington.  We arrived at 10:30 am paid our $25 admission fee.  I was surprised to see the crowd of people already there.
We had an 11:00 am reservation for tea.  The cost of $31 per person for the buffet style setup is worth the cost.  The tea room has a nice atmosphere the food and service was great.   The raspberry and the rose flavored teas were perfect.
You can spend all day at the Huntington.

We had fun celebrating Gloria's Birthday this year

Wishing you a day as fabulous as you!

My grown up version of painted eggs.
